Tasting Notes:

Explosive aromas of jasmine floral and zesty citrus leap fromthe glass.The palate is spritely and energetic, with generous fruit that frames a firm lime citrus core. Preserved lemon, lime and hints of white peach flesh, flow through the palate and linger well after the wine is gone.

Technical:

Wine has been flowing in the Clare Valley since 1851 and is an integral part of the culture. A small area, accounting for less than 1.5% of Australia’s total wine production, it is one of Australia’s most prestigious premium wine regions, most famous for its Riesling and Shiraz. With its beautiful rolling hills, ideal winter rainfall, and Mediterranean climate,the Clare Valley carries a unique history and winemaking heritage. 

The tiny village of Watervale (population of 246), nestled in South Australia’s Clare Valley, is renowned for the quality of its Riesling. Our Watervale Riesling is picked from a special part of the Florita vineyard in Watervale. This famous Riesling vineyard usually achieves full ripeness with high natural acid levels.
