1x Monolith Vintners Monolithic Old Vine Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019 - 14.50% Alc
A massive all-encompassing nose but once allowed to breathe you will find this mellows. Dark plum and cranberry notes with leather saddle and earth which indicates the age whilst pepper, dark chocolate, and black currants all play a role here. The oak influence is obvious despite its age and highlights the quality of the new oak used. The palate is concentrated and straight up its no shrinking violet, offering up tremendous texture and richness with notes of dark plum, cranberry, black olive, saddle leather, alcohol and scorched earth. Brooding and densely packed, this style of wine requires decanting and time to breathe to soften prior to consuming although will be cellared prior to release the wine has the fruit, alcohol and tannin structure to ensure cellaring for many more years where it will continue to evolve.
1x The Colonial Estate Exile Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 14.50% Alc
Stunningly dense purple/black in colour with purple hue. Wonderful array of aromas here featuring perfumed scents with black fruits, plums, Mediterranean herbs, graphite, licorice, smoked meats, truffle and black pepper. Big, bold and beautiful. There is velvet like texture which runs through this wine hand in hand with its serious depth and concentration. Blackberries, cherries, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, damp earth, and truffles almost every flavour under the sun seems to appear and disappear with every sip. The tannins from the power of the Shiraz fruit are evident yet are balanced by the soft juicy fruit flavours.
2x Jackman Vineyards Estate Range Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 15.00% Alc

1x The Wine Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 14.50% Alc
The Wine Single Vineyard Barossa Shiraz 2021 exemplifies a stellar vintage, receiving high acclaim, notably from renowned critic James Halliday for its exceptional quality relative to previous years. This Shiraz presents a deep, ruby hue with vibrant reflections. On the nose, it offers an intoxicating blend of ripe blackberry, plush plum, and a hint of peppery spice, underpinned by well-integrated, luxuriously toasted oak that promises complexity and longevity. The palate is robust and richly layered, featuring dense berry flavours elegantly framed by silky tannins and a subtle smokiness that leads to a long, satisfying finish. Its careful oaking has not only enhanced its structure but ensures that this wine will mature gracefully, developing greater depth and nuance over the years.

Mulberry and plum fruit mixes with spice on the smooth-textured palate, making this a versatile accompaniment to food.
2x The Colonial Estate Explorateur Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023 - 14.00% Alc
Deep purple with red brick flash around edge. Blackberry fruits with hints of licorice, oak and aniseed. The palate is softly spoken and fruit driven initially with blackberries, plums and licorice notes giving your insight into what is ahead. An approachable mid palate, which is full-flavored, while the fine-grained tannins finish with complex notes of olives, cashew nuts and oak. An alluring finish, which is moreish and smooth, yet has great length.
2x Trevor Jones Tweedies Gully Barossa Valley Shiraz 2023 - 14.50% Alc
Minimal water has been used in the production of the fruit as a result of which the traditionally strong characteristics of a well balanced Barossa shiraz are contained in this wine.
1x Viking Odins Honour Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019 - 14.50% Alc
Dark crimson red with dark black core. Rich earthy characters with an abundance of black fruit followed by hints of chocolate, licorice, leather, black pepper and oak. This is a big traditional style of Shiraz, which we recommend is decanted and allowed to breathe prior to consuming. Black fruits are at the forefront here and an earthy character reflecting its age is also evident although freshness from the fruit and natural acid highlights its ability to age further with ease. The oak and tannin melt into the fruit and some more subtle hints of leather and just a touch of black pepper create further complexity.
