2x Fu2 Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 14.00% Alc
Introducing the little brother of FU, the 2021 FU2. FU2 is inky red/black in colour with vibrant purple hues. It has great intensity and depth which is typical of the FU style. The aroma is truly distinctive, with rich dark chocolate, berry coulis, leather, and cinnamon. The palate is textural with powerful fruit flavours and silky soft tannins providing a rich mouthful of wine. The balanced tannins perfectly complement the influential fruit characters. The flavours mirror the complex set of aromas, toffee and spice with a big berry hit. A truly distinctive FU style from an outstanding vintage will ensure this wine is still drinking well with the best Australia has to offer well into the next decade.

1x Shanahans The Reaper Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021 - 15.00% Alc
Concentrated fruit flavours of blackberry, plum, black olive, dark chocolate and earth. Allowing the wine time to open up will reveal a natural fruit elegance and perfectly engulfed oak flavours. The finish is long with perfectly balanced natural fruit acid and silky-smooth tannins which will ensure the longevity of this release.

1x Grant Burge The Holy Trinity Barossa Valley Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2021 - 14.50% Alc
Crunchy, plush, juicy and fleshy red cherry palate with an abundance of fruit and light chocolate with red currant and aniseed. The weight of the wine is complementary to the fruit profile but the density of fruit with the freshness is an absolute highlight of the wine. The velvety texture flows with the long and persistent tannins and finishes with a mouth coating.

2x Chaffey Bros La Resistance Grenache Syrah Mourvedre 2020 - 14.50% Alc
Deep red colour with blackish and slight purple tints. The bouquet has some char-oak, black pepper and slightly jammy fruit, the palate firm, sappy and savoury and slightly bitter in the aftertaste.

1x Kingsford By Tanunda Hill Barossa Valley Shiraz 2020 - 14.50% Alc
Deep red Brick in colour. The Aromas Blackberries, plums and dark mocha chocolate. The palate is Rich berries with subtle notes of black pepper and spice, Superbly balanced with silky tannins and great length on the palate with obvious French oak.

1x Einzellage Seppeltsfield Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022 - 14.00% Alc
Deep dense red brick in colour. Concentrated nose, pinpoint ripeness, and black fruits with incredible elegance. Full bodied sweet ripe flavours of dark berries and plum, it has lushness and the flavours fold over one another in masses, which create an array of gorgeous flavours. Chocolate, mocha, spice and even acid play a part here. The perfectly timed ripeness is what keeps grabbing you. Smooth grained tannin's come late and the finish is like Velvet.

1x The Colonial Estate Richard Lander Old Vine Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019 - 14.50% Alc
A dense nose with red and black forest fruits, spicy plum, black cherry, dried fruits and pepper. A rich full bodied Barossa Shiraz. The wine has an array of characters with upfront plum, dark chocolate, dried figs, leather saddle and white pepper. Sweet Shiraz fruit surrounds a firm tannin backbone whilst a touch of earth and acid provides length and ensures the finish is long and voluptuous.

1x Waller Wellman Kurtz Liaison Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022 - 14.50% Alc
Deep Garnet in colour. The first thing that hits the nose is a rush of toasted spices – peppercorn, cardamom and star anise – followed closely by dark fruit aromas of blackberry and blood Plum, with complex savoury notes of black olive, fresh coffee and warm spices layered with fine oak aromatics. The palate is rich and generous, with juicy dark-berry and plum flavours, complex earthy notes, mocha and spice. A smooth, textural mouthfeel is pulled together with a structural backbone that lengthens the palate with lingering fruit flavours, chocolatey tannins and notes of cedary oak.

1x Viking Odins Honour Barossa Valley Shiraz 2019 - 14.50% Alc
Dark crimson red with dark black core. Rich earthy characters with an abundance of black fruit followed by hints of chocolate, licorice, leather, black pepper and oak. This is a big traditional style of Shiraz, which we recommend is decanted and allowed to breathe prior to consuming. Black fruits are at the forefront here and an earthy character reflecting its age is also evident although freshness from the fruit and natural acid highlights its ability to age further with ease. The oak and tannin melt into the fruit and some more subtle hints of leather and just a touch of black pepper create further complexity.

1x Viking Grand Barossa Valley GSM 2021 - 14.00% Alc
Deep purple in colour, with blackberry, plum and a burst of red cherry, accompanied by spice and white pepper aromas. The palate is a wonderful combination of red fruits and savoury undertones. Smooth tanins make for easy drinking with a soft lingering finish.

Accolades & Awards:

Shanahans The Reaper Barossa Valley Shiraz 2021
98 Point Rated - Winestate Magazine
"Classic Barossa shiraz with an inviting combination of dark fruit, chocolate, floral and oak aromas. Wonderfully balanced wine which is silky smooth with impeccable tannin structure."

96 Point Rated - Sam Kim Wine Orbit
"Richly ripe and inviting with dark plum, raspberry, rich floral, vanilla and hazelnut aromas, it's succulent and weighty in the mouth with silky texture and polished tannins. The wine is fruit forward with spicy undertones, displaying generous, supple mouthfeel with a beautiful rounded finish. At its best: now to 2033."

95 Point Rated - Wine Showcase Magazine
"Dark chocolatey nose with good dash of spices and black pepper. This wine has a lovely, long, rich, dark fruit palate balanced with spicy characters and oak."

Grant Burge The Holy Trinity Barossa Valley Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2020
95 Point Rated - James Halliday Wine Companion
"A 40/40/20% blend, the grenache hand picked from 80-year-old vines. From this point on the only thing in common is the used French oak in various sizes and for various periods of time. It's sophisticated, and achieves elegance, balance and freshness."

93 Point Rated - Aaron Brasher The Real Review
"Aromas of blueberry, cherry, spice, bramble and earth. Youthful, bright, fresh and crunchy on the palate. Red and blue fruits, briar and spice are all at play. There's smart mouth-feel, length and texture. A wine that will benefit from a few years tucked away."

93 Point Rated - Stuart Knox The Real Review
"Deep and vibrant ruby red with purple hints into the rim. Forest berries, rose and musk aromatics. Palate fills with ripe berries and exotic spices all melded well with a contrasting ferrous undercarriage that brings a sense of depth. Fine grained tannins have great carry, ensuring the palate rolls long and finishes dry. Food will lift it further."

Chaffey Bros La Resistance Grenache Syrah Mourvedre 2020
92 Point Rated - Regan Drew Vinonotebook.com
"A poignant extension of the franchise we’ve come to enjoy: roast nuts, chocolate sauce, dark raspberry, crushed herbs, some inky iodine and even a little cherry ice cream. Class volume turned up a few notches with better concentration of fruit (still a little prickle) through the silky palate. Good persistence of flavour and lip smacking tannin. Said before and I’ll say it again, this needs big glasses and an open fire and you’re doing the bull dance in your happy place."

91 Point Rated - Huon Hooke The Real Review
"Deep, dark red with a tint of purple and it smells walnutty/oaky, brown spices, and tastes deep and purposeful with firm tannins matched to rich, almost sumptuous flavour and appealing fleshy extract. Plums and subtle herbiness. The tannins mass on the aftertaste and it would benefit from pairing with protein-rich food. Value ++."
