Tasting Notes:

Pale straw with green-gold tints. Green apple, citrus blossom, lime zest and sherbet with underlying hints of pink grapefruit and bath salts. The palate is underpinned by a refreshing drive of natural acidity that is in lovely balance with generous fruit flavours of citrus curd, fresh lemon and lime zest and a slatey, textured finish that is typical of Heggies vineyard.

Technical:

Heggies Vineyard is the sort of place where a person would sit on their horse in silence at sunset and marvel at the ways of nature. Through the combination of innovative viticultural practices and unique terroir, this challenging yet picturesque estate vineyard produces distinctive, balanced wines - beautifully structured and long in flavour. We ensure each vintage is of consistently high quality. Grapes are picked in the cool of the night, with gentle handling of the free-run juice to retain maximum fruit aromatics. The juice is fermented at cool temperatures using aromatic yeasts to maintain fruit purity and freshness in the final wine.
