Fantastic red bubbles !
Only bought 6 initially but I will be placing an order for more. Excellent, not too sweet and well balanced - wife says it is great and she is a bit fussy.

Great summer sparkling from an iconic Aussie style
Sparkling reds are an iconic Aussie style suited to Christmas eg plum pudding but also all summer with meat and cheese. I had English and French visitors over Xmas and they were shocked to see this type of wine, sceptical to try it but were delighted drink it. The chill and bubbles are great for a hot day but the berry flavours and tannins complement both red and white meat and all sorts of cheese. Its fabulous with plum pudding that you havent finished!

Dryer than expected but very”adult”
After consuming the usual suspects in this category this one pops out as a more complex offering. Still a quaffer but enjoyable in smaller mouthfuls. Certainly not fizzy cordial.

Fruity bubbly with character
This is a very strongly flavoured sparkling red that, I suspect, most people will either like or dislike, that is, there won't be many in the middle ground. I fall in the former category--I enjoyed the wine with roast turkey and cranberry sauce (and all the trimmings). Overall I though it was very good value.

OK sparkling quoffer.
This was suggested as the alternative to the no longer available Paringa Sparkling Shiraz. Unfortunately, it is no match. Quite OK but not in the same ball park as the Paringa.

Well balanced for a vintage.2016
It's one of my favorite sparkling reds the Get Wines offers. It has a rich ruby color and a bouquet of ripe berries. It has a luscious full mouth feel, and a lovely balance of flavor and sweetness.I always serve it slightly chilled, not cold or you will miss out on many of the flavors. It is great on its' own or as an accompaniment with meat dishes such as duck or turkey or a blue cheese. I often do mine over a BBQ steak with garlic, ground black pepper and soy sauce on one side and a Blue Castello on the other cook rare max rare/medium. I just love experimenting. It's rich but delicious. I use a 3/4-1 inch good quality steak. The simple fact is turn it only once. You will get a great meal out of any reasonable cut. Be aware that you may need another bottle as if you strike it rich you may need another half each,

Nice Sparkling red.
Was hoping to get a bottle of the Black Chook Sparkling Shiraz, however this was GWD closest rival. Is it as good as Black Chook; probably not, however it is still a nice drink. Initially I was a bit over-whelmed by the fullness of body of this wine, but after a glass or two after opening, it did settle down. I think it benefits from being allowed time to breathe before drinking, and when you do this, a bit of the initial 'punch' I felt had dissipated. That said, I began to like it more as I progressed through the bottle to the point I am now keen to crack another.

Very drinkable medium bodied sparkling
We have purchased this Sparkling Red a couple of times now. It is very reliable and great value for the price. Will be enjoying a few of these over the Christmas period and is a great accompaniment to bacon and eggs.
