Tasting Notes:

The wine has lifted aromas of chocolate and dark cherries, with a richly flavoured palate of spicy ripe plum, with finishes with smooth tannins. With superb length, it drinks beautifully now and will reward those with patience.

Technical:

We selected Cabernet Sauvignon from premium vineyards throughout McLaren Vale, vinified using a combination of fermentation styles and French oak to build complexity and structure.

"From McLaren Vale, the wine spent time maturing in French oak. A near opaque maroon hue, the wine is ripe, concentrated and richly flavoured. There are notes of mulberries, tobacco leaves, aniseed and blackcurrants. The wine has good intensity and length, with fine, firm tannins and a bright line of acidity. A ten year proposition."
