Tasting Notes:

Deep burgundy in colour. The aromas of Dark berry fruits. The palate is full of Sweet plum, spicy flavours, silky tannins and a rich, velvety smooth palate.


Technical:

This wine is a non vintage blend of Shiraz that contains wine from every vintage of Shiraz since 1997. Each year in spring we freshen the base blend by adding new vintage Shiraz, freshening the pre-Christmas bottling with new vintage wine, maintaining consistency.

"Includes 'a little splash of malbec'; gold medal winner National Wine Show of Australia ’21. The base wines came from the 1997–2022 vintages. Has threaded the needle with lower dosages than usual (hence the gold medal), investing the wine with freshness and finely wrought tannins. Is there nothing outside the skills of Paul Hotker? Not to mention, value for money across the board."
