Technical:

Gapsted Wines is situated in the heart of the King and Alpine Valleys within Victoria’s High Country in Australia. A team of wine industry professionals are committed to producing wines of distinction and quality and are uncompromising. Our cool climate wines include the innovative varieties Petit Manseng, Saperavi as well as classic styles such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay. To date Gapsted Wines have had great show success both locally and abroad, winning a staggering 26 Trophies and 83 Gold Medals. The cellar door is located at Gapsted on the Great Alpine Road, about 5 minutes from Myrtleford.

Prosecco is picked early and green to keep the fresh zesty fruit of the less than ripe grapes. Fermented cold then left on lees to acquire some weight and finesse to preserve the delicate pristine aromas.
