1 x Mount Bold McLaren Vale Shiraz 2017 - 14.00% Alc

Strong mulberry and cherry fruit with under lying French oak which adds complexity to the bouquet. Full and vibrant fruit flavours of dark red berry and plum fill the mid palate. Soft tannins go well with the elegant under lying taste of French oak to make this a great example of a fruit forward soft and generous Shiraz. An outstanding match with all full flavoured red meat dishes. I find it goes well with the overpowering delicious flavour of barbequed spareribs!

1 x Kopparossa Coonawarra Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 - 14.00% Alc

A richly flavoured red showing intense berry flavours with a hint of chocolate and mint on the after palate. The soft oak tannins and mouth filling flavours combine to produce a complex wine with great length. Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon Bottle ages extremely well. It’s ability to age and still retain varietal fruit characters as well as develop attractive new aromas and flavours is legendary. This wine demonstrates that capability perfectly.

2 x 1838 Reserve Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2021 - 14.00% Alc

The Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre blend combines the bold, clean "strawberries and cream" of Grenache with the bold pepper and spice of Shiraz and the earthy depth and soft tannin of Mourvedre. A classic medium bodied blend, vibrant crimson in colour, with a sweet nose and flavours of cherry and dark plum with rounded tannins to follow.

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine came from a vineyard in the Watervale; the heart of Clare Valley's wine growing region. Deep in colour, concentrated and rich in flavour, this wine will reward careful cellaring.

The wine is a dark red with an intense purple hue. The wine has distinct aromas of black cherries and ripe strawberries abound with secondary spice, sweet mocha and cigar box characters evident. this wine is medium to full-bodied with lush red berry, plum and cherry fruit characters. The fruit flavours are balanced by undertones of creamy mocha, spice & subtle savoury characters. The palate has a soft, velvety texture with grainy tannins through the mid-palate and a long, persistence to finish.

The palate is the highlight of the wine, exhibiting rich and vibrant varietal berry-fruit flavours. This is a full, well-rounded red wine that is smooth, complex and full in flavour. This wine is well suited to cheeses, red meats and even some spicy Asian dishes, or can be sipped on its own.

Lifted upfront fruit aromas of red cherry, red berry fruits, and a herbal touch.The wine is light to medium bodied with flavours of cherry and sweet red berry fruits along with delicate herbal characters. The mid palate is soft with silky tannins with fruit being the core ingredient here.

Medium cherry red in appearance. Aromas of ripe berries across the colour spectrum, blackberry, cherry, and raspberries all in attendance, a swirl of charry oak somewhere in the mix too. The full flavoured palate is bursting with concentrated bright berry fruits, whilst the fine tannin profile and freshness of the fruit provide complexity and length.
