Tasting Notes:

This Shiraz shows deep purple colouring with pleasing aromas bursting from the glass. A highly perfumed Shiraz, the nose features red berry fruits, spice, confectionary notes and milk chocolate.A generous and round palate, the red berry flavours fill the mouth and are complemented by boiled lolly flavours, milk chocolate notes and sweet vanilla.The wine has soft tannin structure with well integrated acid that compliments the sweeter aspects of this wine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by WBAlex from A light shiraz The brand attracted me. I have had Grant Burge previously but not the GB56 2021. Of the many shiraz products from GWD this is one of the few disappointments. I enjoy South Australian, Barossa, Coonawarra, Limestone Coast etc but find this one too "light" with underscored tones I prefer in other shiraz wines. Probably value for money if you don't like the "terra rossa" ones.
