Tasting Notes:

Inky deep purple/red in colour. Blackberry, cassis and dark chocolate primary aromas are highlighted with nuances of vanilla and roasted cashew.Concentrated flavours with upfront blackberry and blueberry with a beautifully textured backbone of chewy tannins. Well layered, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with wonderful varietal intensity and generous line and length.

Technical:

Fruit was sourced from vineyards in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia. The different sites allowed us to pick the fruit over a period of 3 weeks allowing each vineyard to develop differing characters to compliment each other. The result is intensely flavoured wines due to the care and attention these growers give them. This wine was fermented warm and received pump overs during their fermentation. Select parcels of the wine received aging with oak contact to add another level of complexity without over powering the fruit.
