Vibrant green with a pale straw hue.Fantastic depth to its varietal expression yet still quite focused with white peach, nectarine and melon with an ever so gently touch of toasty oak.Fresh and zesty in its youth with assorted citrus notes, this is in a word an “elegant” Chardonnay. The time on lees shows up with the wonderful depth of flavour whilst the natural fruit acidity shows through on the finish whilst remaining restrained by the slightest touch of French oak to add another layer of complexity. 

Clare Hills Clare Valley Shiraz 2021 By Pikes

Medium cherry red in appearance. Aromas of ripe berries across the colour spectrum, blackberry, cherry, and raspberries all in attendance, a swirl of charry oak somewhere in the mix too. The full flavoured palate is bursting with concentrated bright berry fruits, whilst the fine tannin profile and freshness of the fruit provide complexity and length. 

Niche Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Medium Straw with a wonderful green apple hue. Sauvignon Blanc characteristics dominate with tropical fruits of pineapple, peach and passionfruit combining with hints of guava and freshly cut grass. Tropical fruits of pineapple, mango and peach fill out the luscious and juicy mid palate, light herbaceous characters add another level of complexity and the wine finishes crisp with a kick of acidity.

1838 Reserve Shiraz 2021

Purple to crimson red around the edge. A fruit bomb in its infancy the nose exhibits dark fruit flavours of freshly cut plum and some blueberry while mocha, chocolate, licorice and subtle oak ensure a highly aromatic and voluptuous nose. The palate is quite velvety in texture, with amazing fruit concentration in its youth featuring plum, chocolate, licorice with a touch of spice, perfectly interwoven oak and the perfect level of fine grainy tannin give line and length. 

Olssen Of Watervale Clare Valley Riesling 2023

Straw with a lime green edge. Intense aromas of freshly cut lemon and lime with orange and whites peaches. Subtle hints of freshly picked lemon grass and grape fruit. The palate is finely structured with intense and citrus fruit flavours of tangelo, orange and desert lime, with passion fruit highlights. The wine has impressive length and a natural acid backbone, and has a mouth-wateringly finish. Will drink well now and over the medium term.

Amakira The Inspiration Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

This Cabernet was sourced from premium South Australia vineyards. It exhibits vibrant fruit flavours of blackcurrant and ripe dark berries combined with hints of chocolate, mint and vanilla. A full bodied wine with a rich and elegant palate structure of cassis fruit and soft silky tannins provide for a flavorsome and smooth finish.
