Ladbroke Grove Coonawarra Killian Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Established in 1982, Ladbroke Grove Wines remains a family owned business producing premium Coonawarra wines in limited quantities. 

This is a classic full flavoured Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon with fruit sourced from our 'Killian Vineyard' centrally located in Coonwarra. The mature cabernet block is narrow-row planted, producing lower yields of intense ripe fruit.

Excellent winter and spring rainfall with even summer temperatures, resulting in a near perfect growing season for Vintage 2012. These conditions, combined with cool autumn night temperatures and lower than average yields, allowed all varieties to achieve full fruit maturity with ease.

Each block of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit was carefully assessed for optimal ripeness, flavour and tannin development. Indicators of vineyard individuality were scrupulously investigated to ensure each premium parcel of fruit was displaying its own unique expression of the amazing Coonawarra terroir. With careful cellaring, this wine will gracefully age for the next 10-15 years.
