Excellent value
I have bought the Niche sparkling before - it's very quaffable a ta good price. One thing I am particularly impressed with i that it very sensibly has a stelcap rather than a cork, so can be resealed immediately. Why this isn't standard for sparkling wines I don't know!

The Niche Brut Cuvee
I have tried this wine a few times. I do like the taste and dryness but, unfortunately, the bubbles fade away very quickly. I actually prefer Normans or even Seaview (which is quite cheap) because they hold the bubbles and last if you have to refrigerate when all of the bottle is not used.

I bought the sparkling Shiraz and loved it, so gave the white a go. Too fruity for me. A rather thick almost dessert feeling to it. Rather disappointed.

Bubbles with a screw cap ... what next?
Nice simple bubble ... a taste of apple in the one that we opened so far ... still getting used to the lack of popping cork ... great value.

I was surprised by the fact that the bottles are screwcap - not cork as you would expect for a sparkling wine.
The wine has an odd colour - not golden, but more a coppery colour - and the bead is very poor.
The taste is OK, hence the ‘fair’ rating.

Disgusting
This was the worst wine I have ever tried. I was concerned as soon as I poured it as it looked very yellow. One sip and what can I say the whole case went down the sink.

Pour down the sink!
Just got a case via ‘buy a case’ deal so can’t really complain but a huge disappointment compared with other The Niche varieties. Tastes like flat stale sweet apple cider. Nasty aftertaste. Wondering what I can do with the remaining eleven bottles.

Terrible
Unfortunately the 2 bottles I opened were not nice. They were very very yellow in colour and flat as (no bubbles). I had been contacted by Rebecca re ordering more wine & explained my concerns. Rebecca has now sorted this out very satisfactorily. Many thanks to her
