Tasting Notes:

Mid straw with bright, pale green and golden hues. Luscious, creamy aroma of fresh peaches, grape fruit and tropical hints with a touch of marzipan adding to the complexity. Zingy tropical fruits flow onto the palate morphing into peach and citrus flavours in the mouth. Hints of nutty and creamy characters, from partial barrel ferment, add to the picture and the finish is long, fruity and zesty, balanced with great acidity.

Technical:

Whole bunches of our best Chardonnay fruit from the Adelaide Hills were hand-picked in late March, in the cool late evening and early morning, then destemmed in small batches without crushing the fruit to fill our press exactly. The free run juice was then fermented in small stainless-steel tank between 11 and 13 degrees and then finished fermentation in used French Oak Barriques.
