Tasting Notes:

A fresh cool climate Chardonnay, this wine pulls together quenching tropical and citrus fruit flavours and delicate French oak. The bouquet is filled with aromas of mango, pineapple and white rose which carry to a soft and generous palate. Nuances of lemon splice, vanillin and roasted cashew combine with a creamy mouthfeel and zesty acidity to a provide a lingering finish.

Technical:

Following soft pressing, the free run juice was inoculated and fermented under cool conditions for 14 days until dry. The wines were then matured on yeast less for 6-8 weeks with a percentage in French oak puncheons and the remainder on premium staves. Blending of the wines occured before bottling in achieving a well-balanced fresh style with soft oak influences.
