Tasting Notes:

Vibrant pale green in colour. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit dominate with some gentle floral notes and slate. Crisp, fresh and dry, loaded with lemon and lime along with a kiss of grapefruit all wrapped around a core of well balanced mineral acidity.

Technical:

Riesling was sourced from a Single Vineyard in the Clare Valley region Australia’s most famous region for producing the variety. Following picking in the cool of the night, the Riesling was rapidly moved to the winery and whole bunch pressed. All pressings were kept separate to ensure maximum softness and to retain the crispness desired in the final wine style. Slow and controlled fermentation followed at about 12-14 degrees C for two weeks. Our winemakers only minimally intervened to produce this outstanding wine.
