Deep crimson red to ink. Black fruit, lifted violets, kalamata olives, some spice and earth characters. Polished and rounded the mid palate has considerable weight with black fruit flavours, cassis, violets, olives, spice, game meat, tannin and oak notes. Muscular and powerful in its youth ensuring longevity. Drinking well as an aged release 4 years post vintage and will continue to drink well into the next decade post release to circa 2030 and beyond.

Bright to deep crimson red. Layered aromas of dark fruits and some vanilla oak along with spice, earth and cocoa. Medium bodied with fruit flavours of dark black berry and plum with highly varietal cassis Cabernet Sauvignon characters. Rounded velvety smooth tannins flow well with the varietal fruit flavours and under lying vanilla oak.

1x The Perfect Storm McLaren Vale Shiraz 2022 - 14.50% Alc 

Opaque purple/black. Concentrated black fruit flavours highlighted by blackberry, plum, dark chocolate and espresso. This wine is much like a perfect storm; Inspiring fear or respect through being impressively large, powerful, intense, capable yet complex and mysterious. The palate is in a word smooth and focused with a big whack of blackberry and plum initially which is woven through the backbone of the wine whilst more subtle notes of dark chocolate, pepper and oak whilst firm tannins provide another layer of complexity right through to the finish.

The Hardys Tintara Geology Shiraz displays the renowned McLaren Vale characters of lifted black cherry and plumb with hints of chocolate, combines with spicy oak notes and a generous mouthfeel. Aromas of blackberries, plum, black cherries and dark chocolate supported by hints of liquorice and vanillin.A reflection of the bouquet showing fresh dark berry fruit flavours intermingled with enticing characters of dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. Big round palate dark fruit of blackberry and plum dominant with olive and licorice undertones. Oak spice provides drive and length whilst silky smooth tannins round everything together perfectly.

1x Hardys Tintara Geology McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 - 14.20% Alc 

Intense blackcurrant and raspberry flavours are apparent across the palate with black olive, leather, mint and violet showing too. In the background there are notes of coffee bean and toasted vanillin oak. The 2021. Tintara Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied wine full of rich varietal flavours. The palate displays lush blackcurrant and plums accompanied by chocolate, tobacco leaf and aniseed. The wine is softly textured with a complex balance that finishes with lingering seamless tannins.

Fruited and fragrant on the nose, showing dark plum, blueberry, rich floral and hazelnut notes, leading to a fruit-expressive palate that's succulent and silky. 

2x Normans Peacock McLaren Vale Shiraz Cabernet 2016 - 15.00% Alc 

Deep dark red colour, the bouquet of dark fruit and dried herbs and earth on the nose with hints of mocha and chocolate. The palate is full of soft dark fruit flavours when allowed to breathe, there is a natural earth character to the wine reminiscent of a Southern Rhone style blend. Blackberry, and blackcurrant in highly concentrated amounts, dark plum, liquorice all provide an opulent yet not overpowering feel. Spicy vanillin cedar, subtle earthy tobacco character and a touch of pepper.
