Tasting Notes:

Ruby red in colour, this is a soft, yet fruit driven wine with lovely aromas of cassis and raspberry that follow through onto the palate and are followed by well rounded tannins to finish.

Technical:

Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon. Traditional, pre-fermentation cold maceration, control of temperatures, 3 weeks of fermentation. There's a lot to be said for the synergy between man, terroir and one of the best vintages ever in Bordeaux.

The 2011 Chateau Capville was produced by a small family outfit in Bordeaux where quality is paramount. The culmination of a fastidious winemaking and winegrowing programme where attention to detail is the key.
