Tasting Notes:

Deep crimson in colour with a magenta hue. Intense aromas of blueberries, violets and maraschino cherry, with nuances of dark berries and French oak. Silky and vibrant, the wine bursts with intense black fruits, the palate is structured with the mid-palate balanced by fine, long tannins.

Technical:

Excellent late winter and early spring rains replenished the soil profile. Mild weather at flowering enabled an even fruit set. The weather leading up to and including harvest was dry and exceptionally mild which resulted in grapes that retained freshness, acidity and wonderfully expressive flavours.
