Tasting Notes:
Rich deep vibrant plum hues. The nose has ones of sweet & spicy berries. Medium bodied Shiraz with blackberry and chocolate flavours with a smooth lingering finish.
Technical:
An Australian Shiraz classically made with some extended skin contact to soften the palate. This wine was matured in older American oak to allow the fruit aromas to develop and tannins to naturally soften.

Surprisingly good drinking at a barhgain price
Great value wine for everyday drinking at a very affordable price. Only issue I found is the bottle is not date stamped with the vintage year?

Not quite a full bodied Shiraz
Still a lovely wine to drink and easy on the palate but perhaps a little bit like for my liking in a Shiraz.

Value red
This is top value for an easy drinking everyday dinner wine. Plenty of fruit, quite dry and no rough edges.

Hidden Treasure
Recently purchased our first Yabber Shiraz dozen and have lined up for another! Unexpected flavor and depth at a great price. Must be one of the best value wines around. Typical shiraz berries on the palate and a smooth finish. What a crazy label, although it seems less so after a few glasses!

Great Value
Popped the cork off a bottle last night and boy am I glad I did.
This one's a ripper for a cosy wine and cheese snack before dinner, during dinner and post dinner.
This may become habit forming !!!

Love the name and the Australian discription
This wine is a surprise packet particually at the price. Bought a case of Kangaroos in the top paddock so why not two cases of this wine. Not disappointed and will buy again.

Exceptional Value
I initially bought this thinking at worst I could use it for a cooking wine but after the first bottle decided that it probably would not be used for much cooking. We were pleasantly surprised & when offered a second case a few weeks later I had no hesitation in purchasing. Unfortunately stocks were depleted very quickly so when a friend tried to put through an order about 30 minutes later it was sold out.

I have purchased Yabber and Sons a couple of times now, 2014 and 2015 and both have been outstanding for the value. Medium to full bodied, smooth and lingering flavour. Highly recommend!

What a surprise!
For the price I expected a BBQ quaffing red for the week-end get togethers but instead I have great wine with a lovely mix of red and black currant, oak, and spices with some pleasing tannin! Highly recommended if you can get it!

Juicy Quaffer
Great flavour for money in this slightly better than quaffing red. Have enjoyed with mature cheeses and red meat dishes.

Brought it a couple of weeks ago, and although have only sampled one bottle, I am very impressed.

Cheap but drinkable
Bearing in mind that this wine was not expensive it represents quite good value for money and definitely a Winter's night quaffing wine.

Watery and sharp
One of my first GWD wines which I had to return. I got it based on good reviews, as a cheap week night drink. Really watery and sharp, no body to it.
