The delightful Stomping Ground Pinot Noir displays pale ruby-red hues throughout the wine. The attractive bouquet exhibits sweet aromas of berries, mushrooms, cherries and strawberries, with complex forest floor undertones evident in the backdrop. The palate is long and concentrated, filled with rich sweet fruit flavours and subtle savory oak notes. It is balanced by smooth and plush tannins, ending the wine in an enticing and satisfying finale. Crafted to relish upon release, this elegant Pinot Noir tastes amazing with salmon, roasted chicken and pasta. 

Technical:

Established in 1858 by English immigrant Edward Tyrrell, Tyrrell’s Wines is a family owned wine company located on Broke Road in Pokolbin, New South Wales. It is currently headed by Bruce Tyrrell, a fourth-generation winemaker who aims to produce high quality wines that people love to drink. The winery was named as ‘Winery of the Year’ in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion for the year 2010.
