Tasting Notes:

Crimson with purple hue. Aromas of black currant, black olive, dried plums and spices. The palate is full of flavour and generous. Concentrated dark berries with some cassis notes that give this a classic cabernet tone. It is a medium weight wine with balanced acidity, well integrated tannin with a hint of vanillin on the finish.

Technical:

The fruit was picked in the cool of night then fermented on skins in static potters and rotary fermenters for a period of six days to create a good balance between extracting the appropriate tannin for wine structure and retaining fruit drive and aromatics. Following the pressing process, clarification and final blending the fruit was matured with select parcels having contact with old French and American oak.

It's one of the best value for money products as it comes with a "buy one, get one free" deal. It grows immeasurably when decanted. Has fooled as number of my friends. Also a great wine for just quaffing at the BBQ.
