The cool slopes and ancient soils of the Adelaide Hills are a perfect region for growing the notoriously fickle Pinot Noir grape. This wine starts with a rich explosion of summer fruits, followed by a more refined flavour array midway, with an earthiness and bittersweet chocolate and subtle spices from the oak aging. This is a medium-bodied red wine, with a firm structure perfect to pair with a roasted duck or duck confit, and a long, savoury finish.
