Tasting Notes:

Dark purple in color with complex aromas of black cherry, French vanilla, and toasted oak. Medium-bodied with a smooth and lush mouthfeel balanced with velvety tannin's from the Grenache. The Shiraz fruit fills the mid-palate, balanced with a long finish enhanced by the Mourvedre. 


Technical:

It was a balmy warm evening in late summer and the moon was revealing its presence when Andrew saw it rise from the west side of the vines at the winery.

That night, our range of Full Moon Double Barrel was born.

Above-average rains in winter, spring and summer, and a three-week delay in harvest.There were none of the drought problems of recent years, and the crop was plentiful across all of Australia. Dry weather for most the harvest period ensured that quality was generally high too.
