An Oath is a solemn promise or attestation of the truth of one's words or the sincerity of one's intentions. Our Oath to you is to create enticing and delicious wines to enjoy every day. The Oath GSM is the latest in our Oath series of wines which showcases the very best varietal expressions from the Clare Valley.

Rich red in colour with youthful purple hues. Complex aromas of dark cherry, ripe plum that holds a floral sweetness. Red berry compote and blue-berry flavours intertwine seamlessly with mild spices that linger on the finish. Fine ripe tannin which give definition and structure are perfectly balanced and add to a long and lasting finish.

Technical:

With many of the Kilikanoon’s vineyards situated in the famed sub-appellation of Watervale, Clare Valley, this GSM holds the hallmarks of the unique and idyllic region - bright and full bodied while retaining the elegant finish the blend if famed for. The Oath GSM is sourced from Estate and select family vineyards. The Estate vineyards are located in the southern end of Watervale and are complemented by the fruit from the family blocks throughout the length of the Valley.

Each variety was harvested separately and fermented in open fermenters for 8 to 10 days. Once complete, the grapes were basket pressed into French oak hogsheads for 9 to 12 months maturation. Barrels were selected for the blend to craft the style that balanced between the traditional style and the modern concentration of Kilikanoon.
