Brilliant clarity with pale golden straw and a slight green hue. Intensely aromatic, fresh fruit driven nose exhibiting new season peach, fresh nectarine and Nashi pear, balanced by lifted honeysuckle, hints of elderflower and a citrus zest. Normans Holbrooks Road Pinot Grigio 2018
A delicate pale green with a light blush. Lovely soft aromas of pear and rose petals. Great textural quality in the mouth with an attractive fresh range of flavours including nectarine, nashi pear and crème caramel with almost flinty mineral notes and perfectly balanced acidity.
Einzellage Moculta Eden Valley Pinot Gris 2018
Sourced From One Of Eden Valleys Most Revered Growers from a single vineyard in the Moculta sub region. Fruit was picked in early hours of morning when temperatures were very low to ensure fruit remained crisp whilst being transported to winery. Crushed within 3 hours of picking it was chilled and pressed, as we needed to ensure the fruit was as pure of possible. After settling it racked off lees then warmed and inoculated with a select yeast strain. Fermentation occurred in tank at cool temperatures. Once the wine was clarified it was bottled and aged to ensure drinkability upon release.
Chain of Ponds Amelias Letter Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio 2017
Sourced from a single vineyard and block to the East of Gumeracha township with slight north east aspect and moderate gradient. The block increases in steepness toward the bottom of the hill allowing moderate growth on the hill tops through to more ample growth towards the base. The gentle gradient in elevation and growth gives slight differences in fruit ripeness, acidity and flavour profiles adding to the fruit complexity in the wine.
Split into two pickings, one on the 8th March and the second on the 20th March, The early parcel was machine picked to get some skin contact to extract flacour while the second was hand picked beginning at first light then delivered to the winery for processing. Transferred straight to press with the Free Run and Pressings completely separated until ferment, the pressings undergo macro oxygenation to remove colour and tannin picked up from the small amount of skin cointact in the press. Both Free run and pressings portions are clarified prior to ferment and fermented at cool but not cold temeratures to avoid excessive ester production. Fermented to dryness then the parcels are left on lees for 4 months to build texture, complexity and palate depth before bottling.
Woodside Park Vineyards Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris 2016
Fruit quality which is reflected in the overall quality of Woodside Park Wines, is of the utmost importance to the Woodside Park family. Sustainable vineyard practices have been constantly applauded by the local grape growing community. As the vineyard has previously experienced heat waves, winemakers are amazed at how well this vineyard has coped in these conditions, producing superior fruit quality, so much so these vineyard practices are being adopted by the community.
The Adelaide Hills is a highly regarded viticultural area stretching from the Barossa in the north to McLaren Vale in the south. Woodside Park Vineyard is sited in the Onkaparinga Valley. This area is characterized by ancient podzolic soils over quartz and schist laterite. The property marks one of the boundaries between these 2 soil types. The blocks are predominately brown podzolic clays over quartz subsoil’s and heavy rock. These soils are home to our Pinot Grigio, some Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and promote rich fruit characters, which tantalize the palate. The neighbouring vineyards are predominantly aged red podzolic soils over schist, a type of weathered laterite rock, more appropriate for Pinot Noir.
Berton Vineyards Foundstone Pinot Grigio 2018
Berton Vineyards was established in 1996 by Bob and Cherie Berton when they purchased a block of land in High Eden, a sub region of the Barossa Valley, South Australia. This idyllic property sits 450m above sea level on gently rolling hills - except for the Chardonnay block which is anything but gentle!!
The first wines that we ever made were released under this label, so these wines are very special to us. Now, years later, we still take pride in selecting our fruit from the same vineyards and producing wines that are consistently full of flavour and made so they are ready to drink now.
Normans Holbrooks Road Pinot Grigio 2018
Harvested at the cool of night from select vineyards located across premium cooler climate regions of South Australia. We crushed the fruit quickly to separate the clear juice from the skins. The wine went through cool fermentation then the wine was carefully filtered and bottled to retain all the appealing fruit flavours.

James Halliday Wine Companion
"The wine has apple, pear and citrus fruit with good acidity, but is simple."
Highly Rated, Patrick Eckel
A light yellow in the glass the wine captures the vibrancy of Pinot Gris with ripe pear and crisp red apple on the nose. The palate continues a consistent thread to the nose with pear and red apple dominant, however there is a textural ripple of lemony acidity with the wine rounded out with a honeyed notes and a touch of grapefruit to finish.
