Fowles Wines Chop Chop Victorian Shiraz 2019

Rich cherry and plum underlined with chocolate and cool climate spice. Medium bodied with lovely integrated oak, silky tannins and peppery spice to finish.

Niche Merlot 2022

Vibrant crimson with red hue. Aromas of freshly crush black fruit, chocolate and a mild touch of oak and spice. The palate is round and generous. A succulent mid palate shows lovely plum and some cherry flavours with chocolate creating a rounder finish whilst being perfectly interwoven between natural fruit acid and tannin. Some spice ensures a fresh and lively finish.

Calabria The Orford Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

The deep purple colour is accentuated by vibrant red hues. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an attractive fruit-driven red, with a full bouquet of sweet berries and violets complemented by subtle French oak. The ripe berry characters flow smoothly onto the palate, combining with spices and vanilla oak and soft chewy tannins.

Pair with roast lamb with fresh thyme, rosemary and sage, vintage cheddar cheeses.

Old Mundulla Vineyard Limestone Coast Malbec 2022

Vibrant crimson in colour, deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and vanilla notes. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavours of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of cinnamon. The wine has well-integrated tannins with an exceptional length to the finish. The Perfect accompaniment to chargrilled meats.

Alexander Cameron Limestone Coast Shiraz 2022

Deep dark black with crimson edge. Powerful and opulent fruit-driven, it has ripe black berry characters with hints of chocolate, alcohol and plums. The palate is fleshy, highlighting the high quality fruit used for this wine. Ripe dark berry characters, which will enable this wine to age well, there is black berry up front with notes of licorice, chocolate and alcohol interwoven across the palate with fine tannins lingering on the finish.

Fowles Wines vineyards and winery are located in the dramatic granite landscape of Strathbogie Ranges region of Victoria. Fowles Wine crafts some of Australia’s finest cool climate wines, winning many of Australia’s most prestigious wine medals and trophies. The Fowles Wine team is energetic and enterprising, continuing to break new ground by proudly taking the Strathbogie Ranges ‘message in a bottle’ to the world with some ofAustralia’s most exciting wines.The Strathbogie Ranges are located 100 kilometres north of Melbourne. The ruggedly beautiful massifs its almost 600 metres above sea level and is characterised by ancient granite boulders dating back over 360million years. A huge granite peninsula, pushed up from the ocean, the Strathbogie Ranges has emerged as a truly distinct, high-altitude and cool climate region, helping us to produce intense wines that are elegant and full of character.

Niche Merlot 2022

The fruit was sourced from premium vineyards located in South Australia. We picked in the cool of night when the fruit had reached its optimum ripeness then fermented on skins in static potters and rotary fermenters for a period of seven days to retain as much of the luscious natural fruit flavour as possible. Warm temperatures at the early stages of fermentation along with ta short period of post ferment maceration helped develop soft fleshy fruit and tannins while helping build structure. Following the pressing process, clarification and final blending the fruit was matured with select parcels having contact with old French oak.

Alexander Cameron Limestone Coast Shiraz 2022

The fruit was picked at optimum ripeness and transported to the winery and immediately crushed. Following on from this we fermented the juice on skins for 10-12 days to maximise colour and flavour extraction. The skins were then pressed gently and the pressings pumped back with the free-run juice. The wine was then fermented over a week then allowed to settle and was then racked off lees. The wine under went malolactic fermentation in barrel and then was aged in the same barrels for 12 months. The wine was blended and prepared for bottling with minimal filtration.

Old Mundulla Vineyard Limestone Coast Malbec 2022

With the perfect climate, rich alluvial soils, and historical vineyard, the Limestone Coast produces some of the finest red wine in all of Australia. Our Old Mundulla Malbec was harvested & gently handled by the winemaker and carefully matured using premium oak. This elegant and refined Malbec shows the best of this famous Australian wine region.
