A well rounded Sauvignon Blanc, displaying intense lemon flavors with hints of lime. While the nose is subtle, this wine has a great richness, palate length and weight that provides huge flavor intensity on the finish. A drier style, classic Ant Moore style Sauvignon Blanc. Full bodied with lovely palate weight and a touch of fruit sweetness, balanced by a slight structural edge with acidity providing a backbone on which the fruit can hang. Finishes with a persistent intensity.
The growing region of Marlborough has many lovely flavour idiosyncrasies throughout. Ant Moore gathers fruit from the widest range of vineyards possible, all up and down the valleys, and indeed on the ridge-tops. Stylistically this is very exciting, but it also allows for a tremendous consistency year to year. We have a wholistic growing philosophy; grazing sheep in the vineyards is just one aspect which provides for low pesticide and herbicide regimes. We have a minimal sulphur approach, using age old pruning and canopy management techniques, together with modern practices to achieve.

It's brightly fruited and beautifully fragrant on the nose showing Granny Smith apple, kiwifruit, nectarine, and lemon zest aromas. The palate is equally appealing with excellent vibrancy backed by crisp acidity, finishing long and mouth-watering. Jan 2022.

Passionfruit, grapefruit and lime popsicle notes lead on this vibrant wine, followed by gentler aromas of tomato leaf and bell pepper. The palate is dry with a slightly chalky texture and similarly lively fruit. A crunchy, refreshing drop that steers clear of under-ripeness, and that embodies much of the best of this famous wine style.
