Tasting Notes:

De Bortoli Sacred Hill Shiraz Cabernet is a dark cherry red coloured wine. The elegant bouquet of this delicious wine exudes aromas of ripe blackberries, red fruits, plums and spicy vanillin oak. These flavours carry on to the palate, balanced with acidity and round tannins, offering good length on the finish. The wine tastes best when enjoyed young with lamb, beef, smoked duck or tomato based pastas.

De Bortoli Family Winemakers have been producing wines since 1928. From humble beginnings of making small amounts of table wines to a family wine business handled by its fourth generation, De Bortoli has shown consistent growth under the direction of founders Vittorio and Giuseppina’s energetic son Deen, and his wife Emeri. Over the years, De Bortoli has developed a reputation for its premium and cool-climate wines produced at the family’s Yarra Valley estate.
