First crafted in 1953 by Australian winemaking legend Colin Preece, this celebrated Shiraz takes its name from the picturesque Mount Chalambar in Victoria’s Grampians. Today, it stands as a modern classic — a multi-regional blend showcasing the strength of Grampians fruit and the bold, structured character of Heathcote Shiraz, delivering a wine of power, balance and undeniable charm.

Sourced from select vineyards across two of Victoria’s finest regions, the 2022 vintage captures the cool-climate spice of the Grampians and the deep, plush fruit of Heathcote. A fragrant nose of blackberry and plum mingles with black pepper and spice, underscored by a whisper of flinty minerality that speaks to its terroir. The palate is soft, plush and medium-bodied, with dark fruits, complex spice, and velvety tannins woven seamlessly into a long, mineral finish.

Rated 93 Points by Campbell Mattinson (Halliday Wine Companion), this is a polished Shiraz from a 5 Red Star Halliday-rated winery — a label synonymous with over 170 years of Australian winemaking excellence.
